Construction of the Stepper Furnace in AMP in Cracow

Name of the task: Carrying out ceramic works - refractory linings and thermal insulation of technological pipelines DN100 - DN3600 of the Stepper-Furnace in the field of combustion air (COA) in ArcelorMittal Poland S.A. in Kraków

Industry: ceramic, insulation, construction.

Scope of performed works:

  • Fabrication of refractory linings for the construction of a 450t/h Stepper Furnace,
  • Thermal insulation on the section of pipework for ceiling burners - bottom side,
  • Thermal insulation on the sides of the furnace (longer side of the furnace) on collectors and pipelines,
  • Thermal insulation of water pipes (ET insulation),
  • Unloading new sinter trucks in the chimney area,
  • Dismantling existing sintering trolleys,
  • Installation of new sintering carts,
  • Dismantling of two old screens (crowbar, trolley, chute, sieves, frame) and the L7m feeder.
